The Lafayette Fire Department is once again hosting the Annual 5K run/walk and FIRE DEPARTMENT Challenge at the Lafayette Fire Department. All ages are welcome. We also welcome your well behaved pooch.

**Fire Dept. Challenge Rules
No age requirement. Minimum 3 per team and an active volunteer or a member of IAFF. Average pace per team. Lowest average per team wins. RUNNING ONLY (No Walking) and must run complete race course. Integrity is appreciated on the race course (no cutting). The winning department of the Chief’s Challenge will have the trophy engraved with their department name. They will get to keep it for (one)1 year, along with bragging rights; they MUST return the next year to defend their title.
The route will begin at the LFD heading up Duniway road, winding around our residential area and end back at the LFD. (There will one water station about halfway, at 12th and Jefferson.)
